The UCD Student Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed publication produced by UCD medical students.

We aim to expand the educational horizons of students and graduates by exposing them to new research, new technologies and new ideas.

The UCD SMJ aims to promote academic excellence by serving as a platform for the publication of student articles in many areas including original scientific research, literature review, clinical practice, and the patient perspective. 

We encourage students to gain an appreciation for the publication process by submitting an article to the journal or joining the UCD SMJ team!
